I'll be on the mitre in the morning 48hrs, hopefully I'll have another good session

Just come back from Mitre Pool to have a brew with the Mrs before trying somewhere else. Got there, waited for the gate to open and went for a walk round the lake to immediatly see the Carp spawning in the margins. Quick chat with a couple of anglers sees that they have been at it since dawn so going to leave them be and head back down on next weeks days off.
Great to get a good view of the Carp though as they dont seem to be bothered about you stood there watching.

Been reported to me on Twitter this afternoon that all the fish have spawned now. Great news for me as hoping to be doing the night on Sunday <!-- s8-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="" title="Cool" /><!-- s8-) -->

New Greenhills lake record at 30lb 8oz caught this week!!

Funny you should say that gav I went there about 3 weeks ago to buy some boilies and was told 2 30's had been put into greenhills that day, there was 2 guys there from a fishery with shaun, they were obviously the people he had bought the fish off, I dunno if that was one of the fish caught this week as I think there s already a few nudging 30 in there.

Yes mate it is. Was put in at that weight. Went down last night and there a fair few people Greenhills but Mitre was empty. Fished on peg 13 on Mitre today, see catch results for photos.
