Got my eye on a few areas in Long Itchington and around Stockton and Napton. Theres Carp to go at but finding them is the hardest thing then catching them is not quite so hard. Boat traffic come the end of March and all summer is harsh to so overnighters are the best option when i warms up a bit. Got a mate who lives on a canal boat who has been feeding them his kitchen scraps for me all winter on 1 spot. <!-- s:idea: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt="" title="Idea" /><!-- s:idea: -->

So i walked down and pinched the smallest of the bunch at 14lb :/ Still good fish for 5 mins work though!

The part im starting the campaign on my mates dad feeds the Carp bread in the early morning before the boats start coming through so thats a plan for later in the year.

haha, it's alright mate i won't poach your spots! I know where i could go catch plenty of carp on the canal if i could be bothered to make the trip... http://www.facebook.com/canalcarp.chron ... ts&fref=ts Not too far from my house where most of those come from.

biggest 26lb common from my bit of cut,alas very few fish now as they drained the cut to put the new road through,seen one or two small fish over the last few years,been electro fished five or six times by the nra all going to bewdley,still a few zander/pike
