2013 Catch Results

Cheers Chris, it's the first time I've ever fished that side of the lake I'm usually on 13or15 definitely my favoured peg now though. 7 landed and lost 3 all the same spot on the same setup.

6 hours on my spot on the canal yesterday, result 3 more Bream. Very dissapointed but back on there for the night on Thursday so fingers crossed.

Had 14 off the dam wall at Drayton yesterday. Carp are moving and feeding in there now and im back on Friday for a bit more action. Biggest i had was 16lb 5oz so a good days sport.

Got down the canal at 3pm yesterday and walked the banks for an hour. After no sign of Carp but saw alot of small Rudd crusing the surface at one part decided to set-up on the usual baited spot. Stepped upto using 18mm boilies topped with fake corn from using 15mm. Between 7 and 10.30pm i had 5 aborted takes and a 2lb Bream that cant of been able to eat the boilie cause its mouth was too small. Took my bivvy down in the dark and headed home due to a busy weekend of work and could be arsed with being kept up by Bream all night.
Over a month without a Carp for me now.

Ah thats not good mate, maybe just keep walking the banks as often as you can and finding them. Mind you it wont be long till they are very visable if they are in the stretch. If we keep getting warm weather could be spawning towards the end of this month

Another successful day at Drayton yesterday. Even managed 2 off the top in the evening. 12 hours 17 runs 15 Carp to just under 18lb. <!-- s8-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="" title="Cool" /><!-- s8-) -->
